Mark Gatiss. He wrote the Unquiet Dead, the Idiot's Lantern, and Victory of the Daleks. He was also in the Lazarus Experiment.

So, here's me. Being hopeful that he won't weird up Holmes. And by weird it up, I mean make it completely terrifying.


But yeah. Exactly. Holmes is sort of a symbol of Victorian London. This young guy they've got cast probably couldn't pull off a top hap or deerstalker for anything. And I'm just having a really hard time imagining Holmes with an internet connection. Why can I just see him spending all day deducing people on Omeggle or something?
