Right here, where I am. I've done the travel thing. Beyond a quick trip to Europe for the weekend, I'm not sure if there's anywhere I really want to be.
Then again, ask me this question after I've had a few, and the answer might change quite a bit.

Go anywhere BUT Vegas! Anywhere at all!
Tell you what, you get yourselves to Oregon, I'll put you up for two weeks, free, no problem :-)
We've got sunshine, coffee, rivers, lakes, ocean, coffee, mountains, waterfalls, sunshine, coffee, sports, music, theatre, coffee, sunshine, art, parks, bicycling, sunshine, coffee... :D
And did I mention sunshine? And coffee? :DDD

It's true that in Western Oregon (where I live) nine months out of the year there's plenty of rain and clouds. But from mid-June through September it's sun sun sun nearly all the time (well, OK, right now it's overcast but warm and we'll have plenty of sunshine this afternoon).
Also, Eastern Oregon is very sunny pretty much year-round.
So HA! You cowardly Anon! Do your research!
Yes, hippies of all descriptions abound - fresh produce and funky art everywhere :D

I was in LV once. It was about 105F the whole time, the games are dumb, and everyone smokes indoors. There was ONE adult bookstore in the whole town. Ugh.

Also Bend. Bend is a very happening place these days. Or Sisters, which is a lovely little town at the foot of the North and Middle Sisters.
Also, for exploring the great outdoors you can't beat Malheur or Steens Mtn.
River rafting down the Deschutes; fishing and fossils on the John Day...
OK, maybe I'm an outdoorsy type. I suppose if you're not there's not much to do in Eastern OR. But if it's sunshine you want, why bury yourself in a God-awful casino?!?!
PS So who are you anyway? Tourist director for NV? ;-)

I was tricked once by his butter wouldn't melt and I'm wearing a jumper face
Never again
