I came home yesterday to find cons_detective asleep on my sofa.
I woke up this morning to find him unexpectedly gone. He took his stuff, so I'm guessing he didn't just nip outside for a fag.

It can, yeah. But you'd also be surprised how many people don't know what Watson's first name was. So I really only get it from people in the fandom.

Huh, that's interesting. I don't remember ever not knowing that it's "John Watson". It's just such a good, solid name. "Bob Watson" or "Ted" or "Bill Watson" just wouldn't have the same ring.

I guess that's handy, then. If someone spazzes out about your name you know they're going to be just that little bit more awesome than others. *loves fandom*

Well, to be fair, it's Holmes that everyone remembers. He's right there at the front of everything, with his names in the titles and everything.

Hell, ACD couldn't even keep Watson's name straight. He called James on at least one occasion.

I was always a Watson fan. <3 Especially after the '09 movie, which yeah, wasn't the best thing ever, but my lord Law!Watson was hot.

Eurgh, James Watson is horrid. Though I suppose the first name really wasn't that relevant in ACD's stories. Still. I'm glad we ended up with John.
