Calming down

Things have finally started to get a bit bearable. We ordered some Chnese a few hours ago, but S never really touched his. He ate some of the noodles, and then declared it ‘too blue-tasting,’ whatever the hell that means. He’s really bringing out the doctor in me, because whenever he does this, I can’t help but start to get worried. Maybe I’ll have to just find a very large recipe book and go through everything in it just to see what he does like. So far, the list of things I’ve found that he’ll eat unconditionally include custard creams, certain flavours of Walkers Crisps, and oranges. Everything else is fussed over or flat out refused. I don’t get it.

Right now, I’m watching him paint a pair of old shoes. My old shoes, actually, but I haven’t worn them for a while, so I don’t really care. They’re starting to look kind of cool. I may have to post pictures when he’s done.

Saturday is still on. Just don’t expect S to be very social. I think he’s a little put off at the idea of meeting new people right now.

As far as I understand it, it's just some wires crossed in the brain and nothing to worry about, unless it develops suddenly in which case it could indicate a brain tumor.

I've had mine all my life though. Didn't even realize it until I read the book "A Mango-Shaped Space" and went, "hang on, most people...don't hear music as color?"

It was rather perplexing, let me tell you.
