[F-LOCKED]* Update

Thanks to everyone who sent their concern last night. Things got a bit crazy for a bit, but I think he's doing better. He's playing his computer game right now, so at least he's focused on something else, which is good

For a bit of clarification, Sherlock just absolutely hates the colour red. I'm not sure what it is about it, but it just gets to him. I don't mean that he won't look at it. He just won't eat anything red (which is a fair amount of things, when you think about it). What caused the problem last night was that Mary had done something to his mouthwash that had turned everything in his mouth red, and he didn't notice because the bottle's opaque. When he did notice, the first thing he reached for was the mouthwash, naturally, which didn't help at all.

Especially after last night, I'm sort of tempted to desensitise him a bit. I know it can be done, but it's difficult and I'm wondering if he's not too old for it to properly work. But it's all up to him anyway. Forcing the issue would only make it worse.

In other news, apparently we're going to Chipping Norton today for a birthday that I've only just been told about. So I guess I'll go get ready for that.

ETA: Oh. I'm meeting the parents today. Thanks for the warning, you brat.

God dammit

Glad he's feeling better now

You two up for a visit when you get back?

S sick of him yet? Think he's seen Junior more often than not the past week

Suddenly understand why those posh tossers dress their pets in clothes

No wait

There is no excuse for them, none have encountered this kind of accident

No joking about that

Be over in an hour, Junior's staying home because of reasons

By which I mean S has you to thank for that decision

S'fine, see you then

Oh dear. How did that come out?

I have one or two things I'm like that about, and I've had someone think it would be funny to spring them on me. When it's someone you know and trust, who knows about the problem, who does that for the lulz, it's just the worst thing.

This is my way of saying oh god, I know how he feels. Be kind with him, and offer distractions, that's the best thing. Sounds like you're doing that. Bless you.

It's not a problem, and hasn't been since I was a kid. I also rather strongly doubt that she'd have been able to pre-meditate something quite so malicious. Far more likely it was a complete lapse of conscious thought.

Well, not a problem, but not extremely pleasant.

I was so disturbed by the whole thing I probably ascribed to malice what was actually due to duh...
