Progress!

We signed the paperwork on the new place today. I think we'll probably start moving this weekend, and just take our time with it, and then use our notice period to clean up this place and attempt to get my deposit back. I'll make sure everyone gets the new address sometime this week.

Also, Mary stopped by yesterday. OK, she came by because I asked her to. We talked and things are good. Like most things, everything that happened over the weekend was just the result of a massive communication breakdown. Apologies have been made, but it may still take a while for everything to completely calm down.


On the Minecraft front, I took his laptop cord away. He bought a new one and has now taken to hiding. So, I give up. He'll get bored and/or pass out eventually. I hope.

Congrats on the new flat and for working things out. I don't think there's anything more stressful than moving, so I'm glad you were able to work things out with your friend.

As for on the Mincraft front... Well, perhaps you are better off waiting for him to pass out and then stealing that cord as well?

Whoohoo on the new flat! Although I don't envy you the task of actually moving AND unpacking. I still haven't actually finished my unpacking from my uni home back to home home. >>
