I now have a cons_detective living with me. I’d never been over to his flat before, and I think I realise why now. There wasn’t any room for a second person. I don’t think there was any room for him. It’s no wonder he was always coming over here.

Not that I mind. But it’s been like a full-size game of Tetris, trying to get all of his stuff to fit around mine and still leave room to move. I’m going to talk to the landlord in the morning about seeing if we can use the shed for some of the stuff that won’t get moisture damaged. Which is, thankfully, most of S’s stuff, I think.

And then it wasn’t made any easier with him checking his email on his phone every five minutes. *eye roll*

Also, how are you fitting around each other? did you have a spare bedroom, or is he still sleeping on the sofa?

Art types are usually... interesting to live with (or so my former roommates have told me). We tend to have mad packrat tendencies because you really never know when you'll need those porcupine quills or India ink or evidence tags, and it would be horrible to need them at two in the morning and *not* have them.
