A note: while this is not super easy to make vegan, it's possible. Take out the egg and substitute canola oil for the butter. Also, it's easy to make gluten-free, and is particularly tasty with oat flour.
Or, y'know, tasty as normal. I just make cookies a lot with my friend who can't eat wheat, and these are her favorites. She'd win in a fight with me, so I haven't made them with wheat flour in over a year. XD
